The children of Saint Catherine Children’s Home took part in a fun-filled workshop where they were given a free hand to express their creativity in painting and decorating their very own Easter eggs. This activity was possible with the help of Edit Egyed, associate of the Diakónia Association. Edit showed the children of the home in Imper and the children from the Szeretet School old, traditional Hungarian methods of decorating Easter eggs. Our volunteers assisted in the preparation of the hard-boiled eggs, as well as guiding the children on some painting skills. Aside from this highly creative workshop, the kids took part in lots of interactive games after they were finished with the eggs.
